| Tofte Charters departs from Taconite Harbor. Taconite Harbor is located 1.5 miles south of Schroeder or approximately 6 miles south of Tofte. Drive down to the lower parking lot where space is usually available. Please park in the middle, the outside ring of parking is designed for trailer parking only. |

In the event of inclement weather, we will attempt to reschedule your charter to meet your satisfaction. The final decision to cast off or return to port will be made by the Captain. |

  Taconite Harbor is approx. 1.5 miles south of Schroeder. When going south you will pass under 3 railroad bridges before turning into the Taconite Harbor public access and safe harbor. If coming north the turn will be just before the first bridge. The entrance is right by mile marker #77. |
