has been dubbed the most beautiful public golf course in Minnesota |

Although still under construction, the Gitchi Gami state trail is great for a casual bike ride or relaxing stroll. Short sections have been completed and when finished will connect Two Harbors and Grand Marais. Six miles of trail has been completed in the Schroeder / Tofte area. Superior National Forest logging roads are another option for the more avid biker. |

The International Wolf Center in Ely, MN is a bit of a drive at 100 miles from Tofte. But the scenic and curvy highway 1 and the neat town of Ely make it worth a day trip. |
